Assertive Communication

I led several open training on this topic and also several for organizations as IDHEM or Foundation MPVV – Multicultureel Platform Vrede & Vrijheid.

Goal:
To develop an assertive attitude towards other people not only at a workplace but in life generally. It’s characterized by openness in expressing feelings and communicating needs without hurting the opinions of a recipient and expanding interpersonal skills with the ability to set boundaries.

Results:
Immediate acquisition of techniques and putting it into practice without embarrassment, shame, and avoidance.
You will be learning e.i. the below:

– expressing a different opinion
– admitting mistakes and apologizing
– communicating the feelings towards others
– saying NO
– asking for something that you want or deserve
– accepting compliments / criticism / negative  feedback
– talking about yourself well (about your disadvantages too!)
– expressing constructive criticism/feedback
– ending difficult cases/conversations
